The online fair will take place from April 23-25, 2021, and then again from April 30 to May 2, 2021. During the festival, readers can gain insider information regarding all things related to today’s literary world, as several nationally renowned authors will be showcased at the event. The authors will share the latest on their particular genres with readers, as well as offer practical tips for aspiring fiction and nonfiction writers.

For instance, poetry-loving bookworms will have the opportunity to glean insights from Alvina Platt-Gregory, the writer of Poetic Parables: Listen with Your Heart. This 2018 book features poetry designed to inspire and encourage people to take their prayer lives to deeper levels.

The memoir is another genre that will be represented at this year’s iconic online festival. For instance, both readers and aspiring writers will get to hear insights from Jack Weaver, the writer of Going, Going: The Abduction of a Mind. This 2019 journal chronicles a couple’s 15-year journey dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

Lovers of romance mystery novels can also dive deep into the mind of the author who brought the world Jasmine: A Woman of Color—Monique Boyd. This 2018 mini thriller conveys the story of a widow who finds romance again but ends up having to fight to protect her happiness and her life.

Additional topics that “Festival of Storytellers” authors have explored include whether dreams predict the future (Visions and Dreams by Ken Powe [2020]), what would happen if murder occurred on the moon (Moon Luck by Scott Harral [2020]), and even how children can deal with bullying (The Ladybug and the Bully Frog by Caroleann Rice [2018]).
