BCFS Health And Human Services RSD Launches Collection Of Employee’s Favorites Meals In A New Cookbook Series

Inspired to spread positive energy among the staff at BCFS Health and Human Services Residential Services Division (RSD), Regional Director Kenneth Williams invited his team to participate in something rewarding. A cookbook!

The project allowed for much welcomed camaraderie and an expression of the cultural and culinary diversity of our staff and also inspired other RSD teams to do the same with a total of 11 cookbooks in the series.  Each cookbook is filled with fun and innovative recipes collected by the staff and reflects the varied tastes and ethnic backgrounds of the diverse employee base.

The colorful cookbooks include the following recipes as well as the name of the contributing BCFS Health and Human Services RSD employee:

• Sweet Pumpkin Rolls, suggested by Ingrid Pacheco Acosta – Case Management Specialist
• Waffle House Signature Sweet Cream Waffle, suggested by Emmanuel Hernandez – Case Management Specialist

• Kimchee Grilled Cheese, suggested by Jesus Estrada – Case Management Specialist
• Baked Cajun Fish and Garlic Butter Shrimp, suggested by Jose Elizondo – Case Management Specialist
• Easy 5 Bean Chili, suggested by Grace Kizer – Program Director
• Easy Pecan Pie with Shortbread Crust, suggested by Natasha Estrello with Poppa Estrello – Case Management Specialist
• Tomato Caprese, suggested by Natasha Estrello – Case Management Specialist
