The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) has appointed Paul Michaels, Director of Aerospace Operations at GMN, to the PNAA Board of Directors.
“We are so excited to have Paul join the PNAA Board.”, said Nikki Malcom, PNAA Chairwoman. “Paul has been a longtime supporter of PNAA, and his experience within the aerospace community and leadership will be crucial in helping to support our mission to promote the global competitiveness of the Pacific Northwest aerospace region.”
For the past 15 years, Paul Michaels has developed a culture of world-class customer support and service within the aerospace supply chain. He has been a featured speaker at numerous aerospace industry conferences on topics from enhanced customer engagement to the evolving demands of aerospace customers and how suppliers can be successful in meeting their growing needs.
“It’s such an incredible honor to join the PNAA Board of Directors.”, said Michaels. “GMN and the leadership of the Root family have fostered a supportive culture of values and business integrity. These shared ideals have allowed us the opportunity to grow and lead in the aerospace sector. The relationship we’ve built with PNAA is something we are all extremely proud of. I was first introduced to PNAA in 2012 when one of my mentors gave me the opportunity to represent GMN and speak at their industry breakfast on customer engagement. We’ve come so far together, and I’m ready to continue my journey with PNAA to promote growth within the industry and in our communities.”
A graduate from the University of Washington, Paul Michaels got his start in the commercial printing industry in 1993. Joining GMN in 2002, he now oversees all aerospace support at GMN’s corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Seattle, WA, currently supporting over 300 aerospace & defense companies globally. In February 2016, the PNAA honored and recognized him as the Aerospace Executive of the Year at their 15th Annual Aerospace Conference.
GMN congratulates Paul Michaels on his appointment to the PNAA Board of Directors and looks forward to his valuable contribution towards strengthening and gearing the Pacific Northwest aerospace community ahead.
