Leading Outdoors & Survival Subscription BATTLBOX Takes Netflix Top 10 Spot With Southern Survival

The reality series Southern Survival, now in the Top 10 Charts on Netflix, was born from BATTLBOX, the subscription box brainchild of Daniel Dabbs. CEO and Founder. Dabbs is the creative genius behind BATTLBOX and says his creation of such evolved from his “love of knives and survival gear” and the desire to get people outside and experience his passion for the outdoors.

Each month, the subscription box comes filled with a plethora of exceptional gear for outdoor lovers and survivalists alike. The gear is personally selected and tested at BATTLBOX Ranch by Dabbs and his team to ensure it meets BATTLBOX standards. Since its inception in 2015, BATTLBOX has shipped over one million boxes to its monthly subscribers.

Gear testing is what ultimately led to the Southern Survival series. Dabbs and his team create survival situations, such as a car submerged underwater or a campsite that catches on fire. They then use a variety of survival tools and gear to determine if the products actually work the way they should. The show premiered worldwide July 3, and according to Netflix, it is among the top 10 TV shows in the US.

The BATTLBOX team consists of Daniel Dabbs, CEO, aka “The Boss”, Brandon Currin, VP of Marketing and self-proclaimed misfit of mayhem, Steve Jordan, reluctantly appointed as the “Test Dummy” and Mikki Montgomery, Procurement/Product Specialist.

Not only does the series offer real-world applications of survival skills, but it also highlights Southeast Georgia as well as the spirit of entrepreneurship and small businesses.
