Driving Successful Lives teams up with Draw (Disaster Relief At Work Inc.) Non-Profit Organization to provide assistance for Disaster Relief. Together, along with the White Lake Presbyterian Church, DRAW’s mission is supporting local and national families affected by tornados, floods, hurricanes and wildfire. Executive Director, Greg Martin of DRAW, Inc. a Michigan Non-Profit Organization says he is “thankful and touched by the outpouring of support he receives from local charity partners, including Driving Successful Lives”. Donating 100 buckets on behalf of the White Lake Presbyterian Church, both Michigan organizations are continuing to support the DRAW initiatives.
The buckets are filled with immediately needed supplies such as cleaning kits, roofing supplies, bathroom supplies and items needed when a natural disaster occurs. Not only does DRAW work with community partners to obtain contributions that aid in disaster relief, but they supply on-site unskilled labor to the location where the disaster occurred so the area can be cleared immediately and sustained. Things like cutting down trees, repairing areas affected, cleaning up after the disaster are necessary and require urgent attention and that is exactly what occurs when these organizations are called upon to help. The White Lake Presbyterian Church also offers family prayer, contributions, donations and mobilizes all of their resources and efforts to call upon Charities like Driving Successful Lives to prepare items for people in need.
Natural disasters are unpredictable but together, we make a difference in the lives of many by simply being prepared. Each one of us has to do our part when a hurricane, tornado, flood or wildfire happens and that is why all of our organizations want to take the time to better the lives of those who survive and are affected by these events. We are prepared when this happens and able to react immediately. The organization responds within 5 days of a natural disaster and over $1,000,000 has been given to those who survived.
About Driving Successful Lives
Driving Successful Lives’ mission is to facilitate car donations so that veterans, homeless families, children, those with addictions & other non-profits can benefit from fellow citizens giving-forward.
Every time a person gives to the charity of their choice it may also create a tax benefit for them. The money, the items, and the real property that they have donated to non-profit institutions throughout the tax year may be tax deductible which means that they could end up being the difference between a good tax return and a great tax return. Depending upon the kind of donation and the type of charity or foundation that they chose to donate to, the tax deduction it creates could be very helpful for reducing the amount taxes that they owe. Many successful and wealthy people state that at least to a certain degree, a part of whom they are and what they have become comes at least in part from the practice of giving. Contributing to charities can be a very convenient way to reduce taxes.
