The 31-Year-Old Business and Community Leader Was Selected Over Nearly 500 Applicants

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.,– (May 29, 2019), The Arizona Israel Technology Alliance today announced that its President and CEO Leib Bolel, who also serves as a venture partner at Grayhawk Capital, has been accepted into The Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 class of 2019. The prestigious award is based on a highlight of each nominee’s business and community efforts. Each year, the competition gets tougher as the region's population and business community grow and engagement within the community strengthens.
“To be included in this amazing group of young and talented leaders dedicated to the economic development of Phoenix is a true honor,” said Bolel. “Receiving this award was only made possible by the mutual commitment and support I receive from my family, friends and business associates. The work we’ve accomplished together has only just begun.”
Bolel has been instrumental in shaping relations between Arizona and Israel. He founded the Arizona Israel Technology Alliance in October of 2017 to focus on increasing economic and innovation opportunities between the two regions. To date, Bolel has helped the number of Israeli companies in Arizona grow from 12 to 18, with tens of millions in Israeli venture capital entering the state.

The awards celebration is open to the public and will be held from 5:30 p.m. ─ 8:30 p.m. on August 8, 2019 at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. Tickets will be on sale on The Phoenix Business Journal's website events page.
