Dubai, United Arab Emirates (PRUnderground) October 31st, 2018
Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of instructor-led information technology courseware, is pleased to announce that Subela Bhatia has joined the company as the new Regional Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) regions. Effective immediately, Bhatia will join the EMEA team, based out of the offices of EMT Distribution (Logical Operations recently announced new distributor partner) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
In her role, Bhatia will work alongside the existing Director for Middle East, Naseema Akram, and this formidable all-female MEA team will be responsible for driving Logical Operations’ next stage of growth in the region.
For the past twenty years, Bhatia has held senior positions in the Information and Communication Technologies education sector and most recently working for value-added organizations focusing on best practices and cyber security professional training and software solutions.
According to Bhatia, “My experience in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa has helped me hone strong relationships with customers and manage large accounts with government, academia and enterprises which provides a solid platform as I transition into this new role with Logical Operations.”
“The recruitment of Subela in unison with the previously announced distributor agreement with EMT Distribution indicates Logical Operations’ clear intent to grow and focus on providing both our existing and new customers with world class products, solutions and support,” said James Varnham, Managing Director EMEA. “Subela brings decades of experience in the ICT learning space and has the network and knowledge to bring our offerings to a wider audience. We are delighted that she is joining the EMEA team.”
“Logical Operations is a fitting next milestone in my career in the education sector and being based at EMT Distribution locally in Dubai is like coming home for me. Both organizations fit perfectly together with the best interests of providing solutions to customers at the core,” states Bhatia. “Digital transformation continues to create fast-paced opportunities for organizations to function more efficiently while innovating at an increased pace. However, this has resulted in even more cybersecurity risks, and the growing trend of AI and Machine Learning on top of the forecast of IoT deployment over the coming years leaves organizations vulnerable. Logical Operations is ahead of the game in tackling the growing need for employee skills development, which makes it an exciting place to work. I will be focusing initially on partner acquisition to develop a sustainable channel that matches the demand for training.”
