The Cyber Bytes Foundation’s Fall Series Networking final Event of 2018 will feature Colonel Randy Pugh, Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Intelligence Schools.
The event is being held on Thursday, October 25th at 1000 Corporate Drive #119 Stafford, VA 22554. It will feature a presentation from Col. Pugh about the interdependence of cyberspace operations and intelligence. Few would disagree that warfighting in cyberspace is a critical capability in the Information Age or that the most essential part of that capability will be a highly-skilled, tactically and technically proficient workforce. As the commander of Marine Corps Intelligence Schools, Col. Pugh brings unique insights to this training and education challenge. His perspective that it will require a cooperative effort between government, industry, and academia makes this presentation appropriate for all three audiences.
Marine Corps Intelligence Schools carry the charter of preparing and supporting marines for intelligence service in a variety of settings and in support of various missions. Col. Pugh will share unique insights on the requirements for training occupationally and technically proficient cyber warriors.
The Cyber Bytes Foundation networking event will offer:
- Networking during a hosted happy hour between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m.
- Updates on the development of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence
- Presentation by Col. Pugh on the integration of cyber intelligence and information systems
Individuals can register to attend at cyberbytesfoundation.org. The networking event is sponsored by X Corp Solutions, a leader in cyber intelligence and IT training.
