Dr. Rich Constantine remains a popular figure both locally in Greenville, SC and across the world. His local practice, Constantine Dental, remains busy and he is selling Dr. C Merchandise across the globe that supports Smile On Cancer, the foundation started by Rich and his wife Trish to assist patients and their families impacted by the disease. For Dr. C it all started with the Drake “Kiki” dance challenge, which to date has delivered an astounding 150 million worldwide views across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. Dr. C has proven to have staying power with a social following now over 500,000 followers across platforms and with continued engagement of over 1 million people for every new social media post.
“A lot of viral content is truly a one-time lightning in a bottle event,” said Ryan Alford, Dr. C’s agent, and marketing manager. “Rich is proving to be much more than a one-dance wonder. We have over 2 million people engaging with every new social media post since the original dance video and it crosses demographics.”
Dr. C continues to make dentistry fun with new dance moves every couple weeks and other skits that deliver the mantra “just keep smiling”. That tagline has become the rallying cry on his merchandise and across his social media channels where followers look for a break from all the negative news that permeates the airwaves. Following an appearance on the Steve Harvey TV Show that reportedly had amazing ratings and over 5 million in total social media replays, Dr. C is keeping busy and bringing on over 5,000 followers a week on Facebook and Instagram. The primary benefactor of all this attention is the Smile On Cancer foundation which Rich and Trish continue to evolve with plans that include care bags to local patients in Greenville along with the support they give to already established foundations like Run4Life and the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
With an evolving brand, Dr. C has begun showing behind the scenes of his intense workout sessions as well as the arrival of their new Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy.
