GlamNatural™ Presents: The Art of a Makeup Revolution

Ohio-based makeup company, GlamNatural™ Presents: The Art of a Makeup Revolution – a spectacular group exhibition including original works from 27 local and national artists to be displayed at the We Gallery at 20 N. High Street in Akron.  The exhibit kicks off with an open-to-the-public gala on Saturday, April 14, at 7pm, which will include complimentary wine, organic pastries, live music and two contributing artists creating live installations.

Among the artists is Spencer Tunick, whose work will be sold through a silent auction open throughout the duration of the exhibition.  Other contributing artists include Adam Ramseyer, Benjamin King Anders, Max Weinstein, Jason Casenhiser, Shannon Warf, Joshua Davis, Matthew Miller, Leah Hollenbaugh, Adam Lichi, Susan Wenz, Katina Pastis Radwanski, Katie Angheld, Andy Reed, Phillip Goumas, Mike Rzepka, Kevin Hamric, Julia Bunn, Justin Hospodarsky, Brian Parsons, Michael Loop, Rae Vena, Francisco D’Auria , Haley Litzinger, Rachel Jernigan, Athena Cocoves, and Hadia.

All the featured art is available for sale with 10% of the proceeds going to benefit Stewart’s Caring Place: Cancer Wellness Center in Fairlawn, OH.  The show runs through April 28, 2012.  The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday.  For hours and directions, visit www.thewegallery.com.
