Biznovator Academy: A Leading Entrepreneurship Program for Youths

Biznovator is happy to launch their innovative and stimulating 2017-2018 youth entrepreneurship program. The program is specially designed for schoolteachers and counsellors. It aims to empower and train counsellors and teachers to acquire vital skills and attitudes required to facilitate students’ optimum learning. The one-year program exposes 3rd to 12th-grade students to experimental learning content suitable to their ages.

Biznovator Academy has 50 years experience providing entrepreneurship education, offering diversity, technology and corporate leadership training, and mentoring business startups. Their programs follow a three step process; discover, transform and connect; to facilitate intense and effective mind set training for both the students and teachers.

Youths require early exposure to business and entrepreneurship in order to have an edge in today’s global market. They require to be equipped with essential business skills that will facilitate their survival and success in the professional business world. These skills are inclusive of effective leadership, financial and strategic business planning. As such Biznovator Academy has designed programs that can be incorporated into the school curriculum and be effectively delivered in the school environment.

The program can either be delivered during the school day or be offered as an after-school enrichment program. The program provides an entrepreneur workshop for youth where they are trained on how to become successful and innovative entrepreneurs. The school program is structured into three programs; Biznovator Discover, Biznovator Transform, and Biznovator Connect.

The first two programs are delivered in the first and second school semester while the final program is offered during the summer.

The first program, Discover, mainly involves creation of individual self-awareness. During this program the youths are taken through self-assessment tests and are guided to identify key attributes of highly successful people. This assessment establishes a base line for measuring their growth. The Biznovator team aims to identify each individual’s inspiration and passion. They apply the seven basic mindset principal to assist the youths in discovering their own potential for future success. The youths are also equipped with essential values; such as confidence, discipline and curiosity; that will assist them in their entrepreneurship career.

In the second program, Transform aims to further develop the seven basic mindset principals by putting them into practice. This step focuses on building the individual’s leadership and social innovation skill and improving their financial literacy. The leadership courses train on purpose driven leadership and builds confidence, good
communication skills and teamwork, which are vital skills in the global business arena.

The final program; connect; provides numerous offerings that aim to enable the students to establish a quick start in life. The offerings are inclusive of; mentorships, camps, internships and college prep.
The Academy can be tailored and delivered to suit the specific needs of a particular school. Upon request by the school, Biznovator Academy can visit the school and deliver the curriculum on site. The academy also provides school staff training to enable the school to entirely be able to deliver the program. The academy’s program is both fun and enlightening to youths, equipping them with all they need to venture into the entrepreneurship world.
