Dayah Dover, a 22-year-old entrepreneur living in Seattle, Washington who is proving what’s possible for Gen Z, this week announced her company, Littles Laboratory, has reached more than $500,000 in annual revenue.
By leveraging traditionally Gen Z methods for drumming up sales and business, through TikTok, Instagram, and other apps, Dayah is a young entrepreneur who isn’t afraid to harness Gen Z skills for growing her business organically.
“Gen Z gets this rep for being a totally digital generation that’s unable to launch or manage something as big as a business,” said Dayah. “That just couldn’t be farther from the truth. Gen Z is the most resourceful generation to date, able to use avenues across the internet to make serious money. Through Littles Laboratory, I am demonstrating what’s possible for people in their 20s today.”
Littles Laboratory is a nerd-based apparel and community platform that releases unique, bespoke, and customized shirts, bodysuits, accessories, and more. Constantly experimenting with new ideas to create the best experience for everyone on the platform, Littles Laboratory is growing a community on social media centered around quality, nerd-inspired products that stand the test of time.
“We acknowledge that while not everyone geeks out over the same things, we can all bond over different types of intellectual interests that might not be ‘mainstream,’” said Dayah. “We want everyone to have an open mind who lands on our platform and explore all of the different creative content and products we have to offer.”
Dayah started Littles Laboratory to help pay for college, but ended up dropping out when the platform took off. As she has stated, ‘the brand is meant to defy fast fashion that changes with the seasons, since it’s created based on interests.’ Dayah’s first designs were science-based since she calls herself a science nerd, but has branched off with different customizations to explore niche interests.
Due to the authenticity of the nerdy brand, Littles Laboratory is experiencing massive social media growth at this time, with almost 50,000 followers on Instagram and 30,000 followers on TikTok. Dayah is excited to share the brand with even more people this year by distributing content on some of the world’s biggest social media platforms.
