ProV International Inc. is very pleased to introduce Champika Somathilake as our new Director Global Support and Services, with a special focus on IFS.

Champika will be responsible for growing ProV’s IFS unit in the region. More specifically, he will establish ProV’s direct presence closer to end customers in the region, as well as formulate and implement a strategic plan that guides the direction of the business. On this topic he said:

” I am really excited to join ProV as I am confident that I can build a strong and sustainable support and service business.  I am very confident that I will get support from the IFS community since I have been in the ERP industry (IFS) for 15 years.  I have had different roles including solution architect, support manager (APJ) and the head of support for APJMEA (one of four major regions in IFS). “

Champika brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his 15+ years working with IFS. His involvement with customers, partners, and projects in a wide range of industries allowed him to rise to the position of Director Global Support and Services. We hope that we will be able to leverage this knowledge to further the growth and development of the company.

He earned his degree in Process Engineering from the University of Moratuwa before earning his MBA in the University of Southern Queensland Australia.  Currently, he is sitting for his Doctorate in the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka.  He is also a CIMA finalist!

Champika started his professional career at IFS Sri Lanka as a Functional Designer until 2010 when he joined RRC APAC as Regional Support Manager and Senior Solution Architect in Singapore.

Notably, in Champika’s career, he was the solution architect in major developments done by IFS APAC as well as an integral part of major streamlining of support operations in APJMEA as the head of support. 

When not at work, you can find Champika playing guitar, listening to music as well as getting out there to play cricket.  He was the opening batsmen for his college for two years!
