Mark Lucente joins Zilker Technology as Practice Director for IBM Integration and Security Consulting Practice

Zilker Technology, a leading provider of IBM technology services, announced the addition of Mark Lucente as a Practice Director for WebSphere and Security. Mark will play a critical role in driving the next generation of customer solutions using IBM Software, Appliances, and Expert Integrated Systems.
Mark joins Zilker with 20 years of experience integrating systems for banking, healthcare, retail, insurance, capital markets, petrochemicals, telecommunications, airlines, aerospace & defense, and others. Prior to joining Zilker Technology, Mark was a Senior Director running the Integrated Solutions Group for Avnet Services. Before Avnet Services Mark worked with Ascendant Technology, IBM’s Core WebSphere Group, IBM’s DataPower group, and several small SAP consultancies. In addition to his technical responsibilities, Mark has managed groups and projects ranging from a few individuals up to an large division of consultants.
Mark will primarily work hands on with cutting edge architectures and technology platforms. In addition to the hands-on work, Mark will function as Zilker’s advisory consultant in the areas of application integration, B2B, and EDI technologies.
