For the second year, Zerorez of North Carolina is partnering with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina on a food drive.

For the second year, Zerorez of North Carolina is partnering with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina on a food drive. The ZeroHunger food drive has Zerorez technicians asking customers to donate non-perishable foods to the Food Bank. Customers who donate will be rewarded with a bottle of Zerorez’s no-soap, chemical-free, concentrated cleaning product. Zerorez has set of goal of 2000 pounds of food collected that will be delivered to Food Bank on December 1st, 2015.
“There are nearly 650,000 individuals living in food insecure households in the Food Bank’s 34-county service area,” said Jennifer Caslin, Public Relations and Marketing Specialist for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. “Because of the support of individuals and companies like Zerorez, we are able to distribute millions of pounds of food to our neighbors struggling with hunger each year.”
Established in 1980, the Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for 30 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington.
