Posted by & filed under WordPress.

On Saturday, June 10, 2012 I presented at WordCamp NYC 2012. My presentation was called, “Google Loves WordPress – Blogging For SEO”. I covered everything from awesome SEO plugins to the importance of the Google Authorship Program. Since WordCamp NYC I have received numerous emails asking about my presentation and the techniques I use. I was also surprised to see my presentation featured on the Slideshare.net homepage. At one point it was the most tweeted presentation on slideshare…Talk about exposure!! I was even more surpised and honored when wpmu.og selected it as a top 12 presentation of WordCamp NYC 2012. Below is my WordCamp NYC 2012 presentation:Blogging for SEO is different than optimizing your website. Learning how to blog for SEO can make the difference reaching out to your target market and missing them altogether. In the past year, Google has came out with many updates and programs that are a match made in heaven for WordPress Bloggers. Welcome to the new SEO.

With so many people and businesses blogging, I advise everyone to implement many of the tips on my presentation. If you cannot do it alone, feel free to call or email me to discuss how I can help you maximize your blog for SEO.
Are you using any of these techniques when blogging? What SEO techniques are you using? What are your favorite SEO plugins?
Please feel free to ask any questions and comment about what works for you.
