The Monroe Institute (TMI), a research and educational organization long known for its personal development programs using audio technology to elicit various brainwave states, announces a new three-day weekend program, “Rejuvenate.”

Science is proving that our thoughts affect our bodies, therefore we can influence the way we will or will not age by changing the way we think. We can age by default, or we can move through time with a clear model in mind.  Through their programs, tools, and world renowned technologies, TMI aids participants in achieving targeted states of consciousness — many not typically available during normal waking conditions — and in building skills to reenter, explore, and utilize those states at will.
Beginning October 17, 2014, the Rejuvenate program will be offered at TMI in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. This path-breaking program immerses the participant in rejuvenating possibilities for body, mind and spirit in the beautiful surroundings of Robert’s Mountain Retreat Center.

According to TMI spokesman, Michael Peter Langevin, the program is designed to teach people how to turn back aging – in essence, to become ageless.  Langevin says, “Early results of the pilot program showed people learn to de-stress and rejuvenate through deep relaxation exercises and meditations. They also learn to let go of limiting beliefs about aging and re-pattern with thoughts that then help create an ageless body, mind and spirit.”  Using the power of a focused mind, an open heart, and group interaction, he says this program offers innovative possibilities to become positively ageless.

OUR MISSION

To enhance worldwide cooperative efforts in furthering the exploration of consciousness, expanded awareness, and discovery of self.

The Monroe Institute provides experiential education programs facilitating the personal exploration of human consciousness. Over the last 30+ years, tens of thousands of people have attended the Institute’s residential and outreach programs, and millions have benefited from our educational materials. The Institute admits students of any race, color, creed, and national or ethnic origin.

The Monroe Institute also serves as the core of a research affiliation investigating the evolution of human consciousness and making related information available to the public. The Institute is devoted to the premise that focused consciousness contains solutions to the major issues of human experience.

A greater understanding of such consciousness can be achieved through coordinated research efforts using an interdisciplinary approach. For this reason the Institute is working in collaboration with researchers and clinicians in many areas, especially through university and clinical collaborations and our Professional membership and Board of Advisors.
