Weird pizza at the Blue Planet Grill is absolutely great pizza and people are coming from all over Manhattan and beyond to experience this culinary delight first hand.  Inspired by owner Jakob Krumgalz’s creative vision and some of the top chefs in New York City, Blue Planet Gill now features a pizza menu that’s not to be found anywhere else in the world.

“Why not make pizza as creative, weird and delightful as possible?” Krumgalz recently said, “Of course we offer all the traditional favorites, but our new pizzas are something our customers have really jumped behind and we are happy to do something different here at Blue Planet Grill too!”

Current choices include: Baby Octopus & Seaweed Salad Pizza; Broiled Eel & Seaweed Salad Pizza;  Smoked Salmon & Red Caviar Pizza; Chicken Liver Pate & Caramelized Onions Pizza and Pickled Herring & Young Potato Pizza.  According to Krumgalz the Blue Planet Grill Chefs are always exploring new options to expand the menu as well.

The restaurant has steadily carved out a niche offering high quality, yet affordable food delivered with friendly service in the Financial District seven days a week, something that few local places have been able to provide successfully.  The Blue Planet Grill does it with enthusiasm and a smile.

Located just steps from the 9/11 Memorial at 120 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10006, Blue Planet Grill has become a must stop for many who would like a bite to eat or a drink after visiting the emotionally charged site that means so much to so many people.  This is in addition to its regulars from all around the city who are drawn in by the exceptional menu and the constant stream of good reviews online and off.

A recent reviewer on Open Table commented, “We picked the Blue Planet Grill based on reviews and its location. It is right across the street from the 911 Memorial site. When we arrived at 1:30, there were people waiting to get in. I mentioned my name and reservation and we were told to go right in. Incredible! This must be the worst possible time (Thanksgiving weekend) and we walked right in. Originally, the reservation was for 12 but one more showed up and room was quickly made. The food was delicious. A few of us had hamburgers and they were outstanding. There wasn’t a fry left on a plate. The pizza is to die for! I highly recommend this restaurant.”

In addition to the “weird” new pizza menu, the restaurant also features a weekend brunch, gluten free options and is happy to offer catering across the NYC area.
