Recent studies have consistently demonstrated the importance of classroom participation for providing long term information retention to students. Due to this, teachers are attempting to include opportunities for pupil participation into their lesson plans. Often it can be hard to provide these opportunities. However, visualisers provide an excellent way of providing opportunities for pupil participation quickly and efficiently.
Visualisers can be used by teachers to explain mathematical or scientific problems step by step in a format which provides high levels of interaction. Implementing these items can enhance the quality of discussion between pupils and teachers, adding a level of depth to the conversation which other mediums lack.
The main advantage which document cameras have over other presentation devices is that they are able to display 3-D objects. This can be especially useful in art classes, where students are required to draw a particular item. Equally, this feature can be utilised in English classes where students are required to use words to describe an items appearance.
