Dog Picks Super Bowl Winner AND Places Bet on Them
Any animal can claim to pick the winner of the upcoming Super Bowl, but only Arbor, the Go Vegas Dog, is willing to put her money where her mouth is (and put the money in her mouth).
Arbor is known for wearing a doggie cam on her back and touring Las Vegas hot spots giving people a dog’s perspective of America’s most visited city. Recently, with her camera on, she stood in the shadows of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign where she picked between two footballs with the Giants and Patriots logos on them. With an Elvis Presley impersonator overseeing the pick, Arbor made a decisive grab of the New York Giants football, selecting them as her pick.
Arbor then took all of her money out of her piggy bank ($20) and made her way down the strip, with the Giants football in her mouth, to place a bet at a famous Vegas sports book.
Along the way she met many interesting characters including a Vegas showgirl, Garfield the cat and many head turning tourists.
“Picking winners comes naturally to me,” stated Arbor, a Border Collie-Lab mix, “I just go for the one that smells most like sausage.”
Unfortunately, Arbor was shocked to learn that she could not place the bet herself, but she was able to enlist the help of a human to place the bet for her.

Arbor is not affiliated with any casino or business, she is just a dog that likes to promote dog friendly places, the Las Vegas lifestyle and shelter adoptions. Arbor herself is a shelter rescue and encourages everyone to adopt from a shelter. Her owner’s Jennifer and Bryce Henderson are not professional trainers and are really just trying to keep up with her.
