Co-Founder Linda Gregoire stated “We are so happy that Robin and the team at Functional Formularies have agreed to join our wonderful group of Innovators. My husband got his feeding tube in January of 2014 and the semi-synthetic formula prescribed by the hospital never agreed with him. When he started Liquid Hope, he immediately felt better and our visiting nurse and I can see the difference in him.”

Robin Gentry McGee, Founder and CEO of Functional Formularies (https://functionalformularies.com) said “We are thrilled and honored to partner with The Hope-JG Foundation. Personally, I had little awareness of ALS until we launched Liquid Hope and began working with numerous ALS patients. We have seen tremendous results in our population that use our product and I have gotten to know many of these customers personally. They are some of the bravest souls I’ve ever met and are very dear to my heart. I have grown passionate about doing what we can to pave the way to make whole foods nutrition available to those who are affected by ALS and anyone who may desire this type of nutrition. I look forward to continuing to raise awareness of whole foods nutrition for those on feeding tubes with The Hope-JG Foundation.”

The Hope-JG Foundation was founded by John and Linda Gregoire to advocate for an ALS/MS Residence in Maine, modeled after the first in the nation residence in Chelsea, MA.. In partnership with the ALS Residence Initiative and The Green House Project, Hope-JG plans to partner with an existing Long Term Care facility in Maine to build a high tech residence for ALS/MS patients.

“Liquid Hope is a natural extension of our approach to the design of an ALS/MS Residence.” added John Gregoire, Co-Founder of The Hope-JG Foundation. “We would like to see Liquid Hope as the primary means of enteral nutrition in the residence we will see built in Maine. The Steve Saling ALS/MS Residence has proven that, with the right technology, social interaction and nutrition, diseases like ALS can be treated as chronic, not terminal. Patients can thrive, not just survive.”

Functional Formularies was founded by Robin Gentry McGee. Over the past several decades Robin  has developed a vast knowledge of the food as medicine model. It was only natural for Robin to use her experience and knowledge to help her father when faced with life threatening health issues. After experiencing positive results, she is more determined then ever to make it easier for others to choose healthy alternatives.
