The Defender is Back on Indiegogo with New Forever Funding Program

Crowdfunding continues for the first smart personal protection system. The Defender joins Indiegogo's Forever Funding Program.

Pangaea Services, Inc, maker of The Defender, is excited to announce their participation in Indiegogo’s new Forever Funding program. Typically, crowdfunding campaigns run for 30 to 60 days, but the new program allows campaigns to continue raising funds indefinitely. The Defender is the first smart personal protection system that launched on Indiegogo and raised over $231,000 on Indiegogo between July 21 and September 5, 2014.

Select campaigns have been invited to participate in the extended crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. Announced and launched on September 17, 2014, Indiegogo has rolled out a limited number of campaigns and The Defender Forever Funding campaign was extended indefinitely on October 29, 2014. Supporters of The Defender’s original crowdfunding campaign will be the first to receive the product when it is delivered in the first half of 2015. Contributors to The Defender’s Forever Funding campaign will receive their devices immediately after the first contributors. Available perks for The Defender Forever Funding campaign include launch team shirts for $30, The Defender with 12 months of monitoring service for $179, and a pair of Defenders for $299.
