One such event is the 2012 Bath International Guitar Festival running from July 19 – 25, which is one of the highlights of the city’s calendar. This year’s Bath International Guitar Festival features music from artists such as Richard Thompson, David Russell, Badi Assad, Nigel North, Andrea Vettorietti, Ben Powell, the Fingers Collective and the well known headlining group Mike + The Mechanics, to name just a few.
The guitar festival is now in its 19th year and offers a truly diverse range of music and musicians from around the globe, with artists ranging from the classical to the contemporary, and from blues music to jazz, from Latin to folk, along with many more genres being represented.
