A promising new startup, Illuminate WP, aims to revolutionize WordPress training by bringing the most interactive, engaging, comprehensive, and enjoyable workshop to the Stamford Innovation Center on September 28, 2013.
Head instructor and founder Clinton Warren guarantees his students will walk away with a thorough understanding of how to create a WordPress site from scratch and use all of its features. “What’s most exciting to me is the look in a students’ eye when the idea or concept finally sinks in – it’s like a lightbulb switches on…to me that’s the most rewarding part,” Warren says, smiling confidently as he puts the finishing touches on the accompanying workbook. True to his promise of making this the most interactive and comprehensive WordPress workshop available, each ticket includes an Illuminate WP Core Certification, catered lunch & coffee, a 200 page workbook, one month of access to a digital training center, and free gifts. In addition, each student leaves with his or her own self-hosted, published WordPress website.

If there’s anyone qualified to teach a WordPress workshop, it’s Clinton Warren. He began his WordPress career 3.5 years ago after leaving a job in finance. He started developing sites for local businesses and became actively involved in the local Meetup.com community. As his business expanded, he began working as lead developer at Kim Ronemus Design in Westport, CT and was quickly promoted to partner. Increasing demand for WordPress training and consultation gave Clinton the idea to launch Illuminate WP. He is the co-organizer of the Stamford WordPress Meetup Group, organizer of Fairfield Web Design & Development Meetup Group, and organizer of Fairfield County Digital Marketing Group.
