Industry: Travel & Leisure

Special Places to See Production offers our visitors pictures and information on public art, murals and museums by neighborhood.

New York (PRUnderground) March 24th, 2015

Special Places to See Production offers our visitors  pictures and information on public art, murals and museums by neighborhood. Most travel sights are arranged in alphabetical order and ours is listed by neighborhood only. The site provides links to the organization’s websites for our visitors to learn more. We search to discover those lesser known places to bring them to the forefront of a neighborhood. We visit many of the locations listed on the site, take pictures at the locations and add them to the site.

Special Places’s weekly blogs cover locations we visited or interesting people who are part of our history. Facebook and Pinterest pages have even more pictures and information on these locations.

We have launched a monthly series “Feature of the Month”. The series may be on the history of a neighborhood, an article from a guest writer or blogger or an interview. We plan to interview a number of website owners, bloggers, tour guides, and historians who will give us insights into New York neighborhoods with their unique point of view. Be sure to bookmark our page and check it often for the latest information about what to see and do.

Special Places to See Productions launched its first “Feature of the Month” series with the story of the First Lady of Liberty, Lady Deborah Moody of Gravesend. Lady Moody was a woman with strength, determination, conviction and a vision unbeknown to most men of her time. In many ways, she emulates what the thirteen colonies came to be. We plan to highlight some of our history makers and show their impact.

We currently have all five boroughs on our website. There are plans to add more areas of New York state, such as Long Island, Westchester, Poughkeepsie & Hyde Park.

Soon, Special Places to See Productions plans to have photographic contest and trivia contest as we continue to grow.
