Utah commercial solar design company, DBM Solar, receives prestigious NABCEP PV certification.

DBM Solar Design and Consulting (“DBM Solar”), a solar design services company, headquartered in Ogden, Utah, is proud to announce that it has been awarded NABCEP PV Certification. NABCEP is considered an industry standard for photovoltaic professionals.

NABCEP was founded in 2002 as a non-profit 501 (c)(6) corporation with a mission “to support, and work with, the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, professionals, and stakeholders to develop and implement quality credentialing and certification programs for practitioners.” The first NABCEP Solar PV Installer certification exam (now called PV Installation Professional) was administered in 2003.
In order to qualify for the certification exam, NABCEP requires a company to complete 58+ hours of advanced PV training, obtain at least an OSHA 10 hour certification, act as the decision making party on 3-5 PV installations and pass the 70 question NABCEP exam.
