Realizing the growing importance of social media recruitment at both the college and career levels, Social Assurity has launched its newest seminar series focusing on the essentials of social recruitment and teaching students how to create a prominent and discoverable social media presence.

Social Assurity has been presenting social media optimization techniques to students and parents at high schools from coast to coast, fraternities, corporations, colleges and college career centers and consistently receives an overwhelming positive response from attendees. “We realize we are delivering valuable social media insights and techniques that students are not learning anywhere else,” says Katzman. “With this in mind, we are expanding our scope and reach by developing new seminar topics specifically addressing social recruitment and the growing freelance economy.”

Social Assurity also announced it is building an interactive online curriculum specifically designed for students attending for-profit colleges which it expects to officially launch in the fall. The online courses will introduce students at for-profit colleges to the advantages of having a keyword rich social media presence across platforms and will teach them how to take advantage of social recruitment on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Google. “We realize students who attend for-profit colleges are struggling to find gainful employment upon graduation and believe social media can serve as a great equalizer for these talented and dedicated individuals.”
