Smart Network Solutions Communications Corp. and SwitchRay Inc. Expand Telecom Services in Colombia

SwitchRay, a leading telecommunications software provider and Smart Network Solutions, a leading telecom solutions integrator and VAR distributor, announced today the successful completion of a system integration with Metropolitana de Telecomunicaciones S.A E.S.P (Metrotel), one of the fastest growing telecommunications carriers in Colombia. With more than 350,000 users, Metrotel has implemented IP SAS services and solutions in Barranquilla, Colombia, using SwitchRay’s Class 4 and Class 5 softswitch technology. This service expansion helps Metrotel move into the VoIP world, giving these customers advanced Class 5 features and improving communication in this region.

This project was handled from the initial concept to complete installation by the well-orchestrated collaboration of the SwitchRay and Smart Network Solutions teams, including on-site support. With the combined efforts of sales, engineering, product development, and deployment from both companies, the installation was complete in a timely and seamless manner.
