Whether you’re staying in one of your holiday parks in North Devon or South Devon, you can see the Tour of Britain and all of your favourite TeamGB cyclists as they take part in it. You’ll be able to head to Barnstaple if you are staying in our Ilfracombe or Combe Martin holiday parks, or to Dartmouth if you’re in our Brixham caravan park.
It’s a great chance for you to make the Olympic summer last that little bit longer, and Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Chris Froome will all be taking part so you can see your sporting heroes in action up close.
They’ll be heading along the route on Saturday 15th September, making it a great way to start or end your holiday in this beautiful county. The routes are sure to have plenty of spectators along them though, so it will be a good idea to arrive early and ensure you get a good spot.
If you’re going to do some cycling of your own on your holidays then this could be a great way to motivate you or your kids. It will also give you a great opportunity to see what might be the last big event in Britain’s huge summer of sport that has taken place this year.
