Seasoned Banker Minnie Kibuta Joins Afriwise Consult as Director

With a successful career as an executive in telecommunications and financial services in Sub Saharan Africa, Minnie Kibuta joins Afriwise consult from Barclays Africa’s Corporate and Investment Banking division in South Africa. Minnie previously also held leadership positions in East Africa at Ecobank, the National Bank of Commerce of Tanzania and the TRI Group.

Minnie Kibuta’s appointment affirms Afriwise’s commitment to offer its clients a different, more holistic consulting approach. In addition, it strengthens the firm’s ability to provide access to genuine on the ground expertise in Sub Sahara Africa as Minnie is Tanzanian and has a wealth of expertise in East Africa. Other members of Afriwise consult come from or have significant experience in countries such as South Africa, Zambia, the DRC, the Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.

Minnie has a BA in Business Administration from Cal Southern University, an MBA from Leicester University and a Diploma in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) from the London IFS School of Finance.
