The current owner started the food delivery business on-base in southern California. Her business soared and she soon had to split it into two businesses. She has created this contest to give someone the chance to attain their dream of running a successful small business without having to suffer through the start-up costs and trial and error that usually come with opening a new business. The current owner truly cares for her current clients and wants to ensure that they will be well taken care of when she passes on the reigns of this business. The person who wins this contest should care about hiring local hard workers and not be focused on outsourcing things to the lowest bidder. They should care about good service and be willing to give back to their community in the form of time, giveaways, or donations. They should want some change in their life, as they will be taking on a successful business that is as ready as they will be. They should be ready for success, not just quick money. Each essay submitted is accompanied by a $29 donation that will be put into an escrow account until the goal of 500 entries is met.
