Yeager to design and lead group golf trips to global destinations

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (PRUnderground) January 14th, 2016

The Travel Benefits By Design team is pleased to announce the addition of Rod Yeager, a retired Air Force Colonel and PGA (Professional Golfers of America) pro, to their team of travel experts. Yeager will design and lead group golf excursions to exciting destinations around the world.

Yeager has been a member of the PGA since 1991. He played amateur competitive golf while serving in the Air Force, winning tournaments such as the Air Force Worldwide Open Division championship, 4 USAF Senior Division championships, and two Inter-Service Senior championships. He is known in Kansas City as Director of Golf for the Kansas City Park Department’s 72 holes of municipal golf, and he has served in clinics and golf camps throughout his PGA career. He has golfed in 24 countries and 40 states and looks forward to working with the clients at Travel Benefits By Design.

He will assist clients in arranging golf travel itineraries while serving as a tour guide and fellow competitor on trips as desired.

Clients will be able to visit historical courses designed by Bobby Jones, Alister MacKenzie, Max Behr, and more. Some of these courses rest in areas such as Scotland, Ireland, Australia, the Caribbean, and other stunning locations. Yeager, who is also a Vietnam veteran, will assist clients in creating itineraries for golf excursions in Hanoi, DaNang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Travel Benefits By Design is excited to bring Yeager aboard the company, and they look forward to offering his valuable knowledge and experience to countless clients who want to combine the benefits of travel and golf with an expert travel planner.
