Most access courses will ask for a minimum number of A Level qualifications, but top higher education provider GSM London believes that further education should be for everyone and that is why they have created their extensive Year Zero course covering a number of subject areas.
GSM London is the higher education provider that offers qualifications accredited by Plymouth University in the heart of the nation’s capital. At GSM London, students benefit from expert teaching, smaller classrooms, dedicated personal attention and all the perks that come with living in London and studying at a contemporary, fully equipped institution.
So that all students who deserve a place on the higher education course of their choice have these opportunities open to them, GSM London’s Year Zero course has been created to offer such students, who may not have necessarily taken A Levels, another route.
Paulette Annon, Programme Leader and Head of Year Zero Studies, said, “Traditional access courses often require students to already be educated to A-level standard. At GSM London we realise that students may not yet be at that level – despite their potential”.
As well as providing the necessary academic skills and confidence that it takes to embark on a route of further education, GSM London’s access courses act as a starting point to the student’s degree, meaning that they will be able to then stay with friends, peers and tutors and enjoy established relationships.
