Brandywine Senior Living at Haddonfield partners with Diversified Psychological Resources for specialized neuropsychological consultation services for their memory care program, Reflections. The availability of neuropsychology services to educate and counsel residents and family members on the many aspects of living with dementia is a unique feature of Brandywine’s state-of-the-art program, Reflections.

Dr. Jessica Rutstein Lazarus has joined the Brandywine team to provide individualized care coordination, cognitive groups, team and community education on dementia related topics, and family support. Dr. Lazarus received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University.

“As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, I use my training in cognition and Neuroscience to understand each resident’s unique life experience and current level of functioning. My goal is to provide individually tailored cognitive stimulation, emotional support, and behavioral interventions to support the resident and their family,” said Lazarus. “I believe that the key to success is a collaborative approach where the voices of residents, family members, and treatment team professionals are all heard and valued.”

Brandywine’s Reflections Program provides a unique, stimulating, supportive environment for residents with memory care needs. The environment is specifically designed to be safe and secure, with all the warmth and simple elegance people expect from Brandywine. Patience, kindness and compassion are their hallmark.  Brandywine believes that while the past is important, your loved one’s future is their top priority.

“It is important for families to feel supported as they navigate the care giving journey with their loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia,” said Maria Nadelstumph, Vice President of Organizational Development and Program Excellence at Brandywine Senior Living. “Providing additional and higher level insight into this devastating disease can help families cope and stay connected.”
