Those planning skiing holidays this winter will be pleased to hear that more snowfall is expected in both Europe and the US, creating some fantastic conditions for you to explore the slopes in.

With hopes of the already rewarding season continuing to impress, heavier snow is predicted in America, France and Switzerland in particular in the coming weeks. Canada is also expected to maintain its fantastic start to the year.

Skiers in Switzerland have been enjoying the perfect terrain so far this season, with clear conditions and bright sunshine following optimum levels of snowfall. Early morning skiing, resort officials have said, has been especially rewarding.

Colorado is expected to benefit more than any other US skiing state from the oncoming weather, with temperatures as much as 20 degrees below average expected. The two resorts which have been highlighted as the best places to visit to make the most of the conditions are Vail and Beaver Creek – both of which are served by Skiline’s brilliant range of cheap ski holidays.

Moving to Canada, it is conditions at Fernie – another location where skiers can take advantage of Skiline’s amazing value packages – which have been creating the most buzz around the country’s slopes. This British Columbia resort has been boasting ideal temperatures and snow levels recently, seeing as much as 30 inches falling within a 24-hour period. Revelstoke Mountain Resort has also seen welcome weather, leading to the hotly anticipated opening of the world-renowned Mid-Mountain Lodge. This part of the complex is known as being the most vertical skiing peak in North America, offering those brave enough the chance to make their way down 5,620 feet of mountain!

The 2011/12 season has been a great one in countries around the world so far, and it looks like this is set to continue. Wherever you decide to spend your skiing break this year, make sure you look up Skiline holidays and see what our team of experts can do for you.
