Due to popular demand for its Guided Walking Holidays for Solos, HF Holidays – the UK’s largest walking holiday organisation – has added a new location at Beddgelert in Northern Snowdonia to this programme as well as increasing its offering at Malhamdale in the Yorkshire Dales.
In addition to these two locations, special holidays for solos are also based in other prime walking areas with accommodation at the company’s UK Country Houses. Three, four, six and seven night options are available, featuring a choice of up to three walks each day, ranging from leisurely walks to climbing high mountains.
PR Manager at HF Holidays, Vladi Harris, says “we welcome single guests on all our walking and activity holidays but on these holidays for solos the whole house is set aside for the sole use of single guests and there is no single room charge. It is a very sociable holiday for single people of all ages”.
Highlights of the new Northern Snowdonia holidays – taking place at the end of August – include fabulous walking amid green valleys – such as Nant Gwynant – and to the mountain summits of Snowdon, Glyder Fach and Cnicht. Alternatively, the additional September dates in the Yorkshire Dales offer superb walking in the hills and valleys of this extensive limestone landscape.
Prices for these new options start from £289 per person for a three-night break inclusive of full-board, the full programme of organised walks and social activities, transport to and from the walks, plus the services of HF Holidays’ walks leaders.
Solos looking for a more imminent departure can enjoy a four-night break starting 08 April at Haytor – exploring the wild beauty of the Dartmoor National Park – at a cost of £399 or five nights from 22 April on the Isle of Wight – walking on chalk downs and coastal paths – at a cost of £499.
