Update: Slydz Fashion Eyewear

Earlier this year, Model Launcher ran a contest and subsequent photo shoot for Slydz, an emerging fashion company with an unconventional line of sunglasses. Since the shoot, the company has grown exponentially and their brand has reached every corner of the globe.

Slydz offers incredibly affordable eyewear that is “virtually indestructible” and completely customizable. Every piece of Slydz’s prescription eyewear and sunglasses are interchangeable, letting the customer choose from over 20,000 combinations of looks.

Max Silver is the founder and CEO of the company and through Model Launcher’s campaign he says, “we were able to sustain our client base from the unique niche market that Model Launcher provided.”

The niche market that Model Launcher was able to provide via their contest was “very lucrative” says Silver, “ we attained a new client base, which was comprised of our perfect customer; girls in the ages of 16-25 and many of which were funneled directly to our website and there, sales were incurred.”

Recently, Slydz has struck up deals with brands like Disney, Yamaha and several private labels. The future looks bright for this innovative fashion company as their product is not only high quality but customizable to the customer’s liking.

Model Launcher is constantly on the hunt to discover some of the world’s most innovative brands. Slydz Eyewear and their novel line of versatile eyewear is a perfect example of an emerging brand that is soon to be known the world over.

Max Silver, owner and inventor of Slydz envisions a world where “Slydz are on the face of every single person.” Many people who need prescription glasses are all too familiar with the fact of how expensive one pair can be, and unfortunately how easily they can break. Slydz offers incredibly affordable eyewear that is “virtually indestructible” and completely customizable. Every piece of Slydz’s prescription eyewear and sunglasses are interchangeable leaving every customer with over 20,000 different possibilities to accent their daily look.

Model Launcher recently ran a contest to find one lucky winner to model Slydz. Morgan Allman was named the winner and got the chance to travel to Miami for a commercial photoshoot with established photographer Jeremy Standring who took her to the colorful streets of Wynwood in the Miami Arts District. There, Allman brought dozens of Slydz looks to life, “It was such a cool photoshoot on an unbelievably beautiful day,” said Silver. Morgan sported shades that matched her bright lipstick and the colorfully-painted walls that line every block of Wynwood.

Through Model Launcher’s contest, Slydz has attracted many new people to the company’s website that were interested in modeling for Slydz. Silver wants people to become inspired by this new technology because there is currently a lack in the marketplace for affordable and high quality eyewear and Slydz offers just that.

About his experience with Model Launcher, Silver states, “I would definitely recommend Model Launcher to any brand or start-up business, they offer an incredibly unique marketing strategy and bring your brand to new and fresh faces.” Just nine months after launching, Slydz is available in 1,200 stores and the company hopes to push the brand into new markets that will appreciate its affordable lightweight frame technology.

Established in June 2012, Model Launcher fully integrates its client base by featuring international modeling contests that select aspiring and emerging models via a public voting process. Contestants submit themed photos and enter to win a trip to South Beach, with a two-night stay at the Standard Hotel and Spa, a professional photo shoot featuring Model Launcher Cosmetics, and Model Launcher PR and marketing support to assist them in launching their careers.
