Stitches ‘n Dishes, a pioneer in mobile foods announced the launch of its full-color, printed mobile foods magazine at the Imagine 2012 Convention and Trade Show on January 8, 2012.

Christopher Ford, Co-Founder of Stitches ‘n Dishes and Editor in Chief announced the launch of the premier issue of “The Dish! Magazine” at the Imagination Ball, hosted by Ovations and OC Fair on January 8, 2012 at the Orange County Fairground.

Stitches ‘n Dishes is the first provider of Social Media Marketing, integrated advertising, and Public Relations services specifically catered to the mobile foods industry and the street food culture.

The premier issue of “The Dish! Magazine” – 40 full-color pages – features articles, interviews, business features, food photography and reviews about food trucks, food stands and event caterers. The magazine debuted at the Imagination Ball, an exclusive VIP prelude event to the Western Fairs Association’s Imagine 2012 Convention and Trade Show, where copies were also distributed to California fairground representatives and attendees at the Stitches ‘n Dishes exhibit.

The Dish! Magazine’ is the newest addition to our mobile foods marketing concept that forms the bridge to the Stitches ‘n Dishes blog, “The Dish! Newsletter,” our Facebook and Twitter pages, and our Youtube channel, SND TV.”

The launch issue includes a feature biography story on Nick Nicora, Co-Owner of Ovations, who successfully prepared, cooked and served the World’s Largest Commercially Available Hamburger in July, 2011 with Brett Enright, President at Juicy’s, and was subsequently awarded the Annual Hall of Headlines Award by Venues today, the leading industry authority in the entertainment and events industry. It also features articles on several California County Fairs, mobile foods buand six food reviews.

The magazine is focused at mobile food, food truck, food stand and event fans, generally 22 – 35 years old, and will be distributed at fairgrounds, including the California State Fair and street food carts and food trucks throughout California. Limited full- and half-page advertising space will be made available to advertisers, and monthly print distribution is planned to begin in April, 2012. Stitches ‘n Dishes became a Preferred Partner to the Food Network’s television series, Eat St. in January. The two will exchange content and collaborate in the promotion of the Eat St. mobile app for iPhone which enables people to locate and review and share food trucks and food stands anywhere in the country. The partnership broadens the Stitches ‘n Dishes reach to cover the entire country. “The Dish! Magazine” will be distributed at California fairgrounds, food trucks and food stands around the state.
