Mace Security International Partners and Pangaea Services enter into Supplier and Distribution Deal

New relationship will feature Mace Brand pepper spray inside a revolutionary personal protection device, “The Defender”.

Pangaea Services Inc. and Mace Security International, Inc. are proud to announce a strategic relationship. Pangaea Services has selected Mace Brand pepper spray to be featured inside The Defender and Mace Security International has preordered over 1,000 units of The Defender that will be distributed through Mace Brand Retailers. Mace Brand pepper spray is the market leader with 52% market share and brand recognition of 85% in North America. The Defender is the first smart personal protection system to provide identification, alert, defense, and response in a single device. The Defender will provide the most advanced and comprehensive personal security system.
To introduce The Defender, Pangaea Services turned to crowdfunding website, Indiegogo.com, for a campaign that began on July 22nd. The Defender has raised over $210,000 in less than four days on Indiegogo.com by offering contributors the opportunity to receive the first units made and even be part of the beta development team. Mace Security International contributed $100,000 towards the campaign.
