We head out to a region called the Bourmez Valley. The local Berber people who live in the Bourmez Valley are the reason this French education trip is so unique and special.  It is the friendly disposition of the locals that gives this area its nickname the “Happy Valley”.  They are kind, hospitable people who will be delighted to welcome you into their lives. It is a great opportunity for your students to practice their French as English is seldom used & gives students the chance to immerse themselves into village life. Students will get the opportunity to join the Berber children in their local school, learn about the role of family in agriculture, the main source of income in this area. Your students will also get involved in customs such as preparing mint tea and preparing the sweet biscuits.
