On November 7 2015, three professional holiday lights installation teams will enter a competition for the title of Best in Bend Holiday Light Donation

The Light Up Bend competition is designed to bring holiday enlightenment and decorations to those in need. On November 7 2015, Christmas Lights R Us, Fireside Lighting and Holiday Help will enter the gentleman’s competition.
Each of the three teams will design an original holiday lights display and then install their design for two local non-profit organizations, families or individuals in need. All of which will be chosen at random by drawing nominated names from a hat.
Once the participants are chosen, each of the installation teams will be provided with the two respective addresses. They will have only one day to complete the two holiday light projects, from creating the initial design to assembling the final installation. It will be a race against time!
Each non-profit, family or individual will have the same budget set for the cost of their holiday lights. This will keep the playing field equal among each of the installation teams. All of the lights and materials used within the competition will be rushed onto each site courtesy of Ewing Irrigation, in order to meet the design orders.
By the end of the day on November 7, Bend, Oregon will be the home of six brand new holiday light displays. The local community will then have a chance to vote on the best holiday light display and ultimately choose the winning installation team for the Best in Bend Holiday Light Donation.
Light Up Bend is currently seeking assistance from the community to help make the competition a success. All money donations will go towards the amount of lights used within the project andexcess donations will go to local non-profit organizations.
