Families looking for great value, activity holidays this Easter, should check out HF Holidays’ fantastic offer – kids under 11 go free and children aged 11-17 are half-price – on its family friendly guided walking breaks on the Isle of Wight and the Yorkshire Dales.
Designed especially for families with kids of any age, these holidays feature a choice of three child-friendly guided walks during the day with highlights on the Isle of Wight including walking on the chalk cliffs on Tennyson Down, following the Shepherd’s Trail to Carisbrooke Castle and walking along the coastal path to Sandown.
Accommodation is at the company’s Freshwater Bay Country House – set in extensive gardens with steps down to the beach on the island’s west coast – with facilities including a children’s playground, putting green, croquet lawn, table football, badminton and tennis.
A seven-night holiday starting 29 March costs £649 per adult, with children (11 to 17 years and sharing with an adult) paying £324, whilst under 11s are free of charge. A three and four-night break is also available at this time.
Or, families can explore the Yorkshire Dales – with highlights including walking along the Pennine Way and to Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and the waterfall of Janet’s Foss. Accommodation is at the company’s Newfield Hall Country House – situated in two acres of grounds – where facilities include a putting green, indoor heated pool and a range of board games and books.
The four-night break starting 08 April costs £399 per adult, with children (11 to 17 years and sharing with an adult) paying £199 each and under 11s are free of charge.
All prices include full-board, the full programme of organised walks and social activities, transport to and from the walks and the services of HF Holidays’ leaders.
