·         Careful printing: Reviewing content prior to sending it to print is an excellent way of ensuring that extra printing and error prints are avoided.

·         Swab the toner cartridge:  Regular swabbing of HP Toner Cartridges removes any clogs which may have formed on the cartridge. If left, clogs can prevent further printing as the toner sensor mistakes the cartridge as empty.

·         Shake the HP Toner Cartridge: From time to time small bits of toner can clump together within the cartridge and go undetected. In these instances the toner sensor mistakes the cartridge as empty. To avoid the occurrence of this problem, give the cartridge a gentle shake. Be careful when shaking the cartridge in order to avoid toner powder falling on the floor or carpet.
