SANTA MONICA, CA –March 8, 2011– Stuck in a rut? Recently laid off? Feeling like you want to enjoy greater fulfillment in your life? In her empowering and thought-provoking debut book, Living in Your Top 1%: Nine Essential Rituals To Achieve Your Ultimate Life Goals, Alissa Finerman offers easy-to-implement rituals to reach one’s true potential and provides readers with the framework to turn their visions into a reality. Combining research from the best minds in the fields of positive psychology and self-help with personal experience and a collection of compelling stories, readers are left with a sense of self-confidence and a roadmap for change through nine simple steps for success.

Alissa, a former ladder-climbing Wall Street executive and pro-tennis player turned certified life/motivational coach, inspires people to think bigger and get results, personally or professionally. Living In Your Top 1%: Nine Essential Rituals To Achieve Your Ultimate Life Goals helps people assess where they currently are in life, identify areas that they would like to excel in, and then develop a personal roadmap to get there. The book will be available beginning today, March 8th at Amazon.com and in select Barnes & Noble locations in Southern California.

The book is divided into three sections: Assess, Create, and Implement. Each part includes three rituals that will inspire readers to create the reality they desire. Combined, the nine rituals – including “Be the CEO of You, Inc, “Think Without Obstacles,” and “Drink A Cup Of Resilience” – will challenge people to think differently, take action, and redefine what’s possible.

Defined as the practice of using all of your strengths, talents, and assets to live your best life possible, the “Living In Your Top 1%” philosophy includes taking the words can’t, should, and impossible out of your vocabulary. “It is about reaching your personal best without comparing yourself to others,” says Alissa. “Top 1%ers see past roadblocks and take action.”

Four-time #1 New York Times best-selling author Marianne Williamson (A Return to Love), says the book is “for everyone who wants to think bigger, go beyond limits, and embrace the idea of possibilities.”

A first time author, Alissa used the “Living In Your Top 1%” philosophy in the development of the book itself. “The process of writing this book was one of the most challenging and meaningful accomplishments of my life. I’m hopeful that it will motivate many people to pursue what’s most important in their life.”

Alissa will be launching a “Top 1%” interview series to help aspiring top 1%ers learn the essential qualities to excel in life. The series will be featured on www.alissafinerman.com and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/alissafinermantop1).
