Illustrious Modeling and Acting School Barbizon Debuts Success Tracking Website

Industry: Performing Arts

Nationally prominent Barbizon Modeling and Acting prioritizes transparency initiative in 2014. School projects candor to create more engaging partnerships.

United States (PRUnderground) March 13th, 2014

In the last 75 years, Barbizon Modeling and Acting has ranked among the few performing arts academies to endure the test of time. While others have come and gone, the eminent reach of Barbizon Modeling’s success has met new clients on unstable grounds. Due to the wide stretch of their domain, the modeling and acting school has developed a mysterious image that leaves new clients unsure when considering registration. This veiled image is in part due to the plethora of locations, nationally, in which Barbizon operates.

With schools set up in most states of the union, including the hawaiin islands, Barbizon INC strives to stay active in the careers of their graduates. This, of course, is a full time job, that requires entire departments of employees working diligently to reach out to Barbizon alumni. A partnership with model placement group Agency 1939 facilitates Barbizon students into industry-related work and provides a clear window for success-sharing internally. However, due to the private nature of the fashion and acting industries, students have reported a sense of discouragement, being unaware of their peers adventures post-graduation. Since there are no guarantees in the modeling or acting industries, graduates are without reliable sources for accounts of their peers. Earlier this month, famed modeling and acting school, Barbizon, announced plans to end that information blackout with success-tracking website

With a mission for transparency, Barbizon is ushering efforts to expose the success of their graduates for public utility. Several websites have been created to keep graduates and potential students alike informed and up-to-date on the latest student successes as well as archives of former graduates you know not have known were “Barbizon famous”.  Initatives include a social media push across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Vimeo, Youtube and other peer-to-peer information sharing mediums. Additionally, the company is embracing an open door policy to invite friends of students to attend classes and even accompany their friends during a “Model Makeover” head shot experience, wherein students are treated to professional makeup and hair styling before having a photographer snap their head shot. The “MAMO” continually excites, educates and prepares Barbizon students for their journey into the industry.

The praise recieved from model makeover head shots has not escaped Barbizon’s notice. The modeling education titan has put into action plans to integrate social media into their curriculum. Currently, social media education involves basic how-to maintain a professional social media presence. However, Barbizon is moving to facilitate students in creating this present directly with the release of their head shot via social media.

Barbizon pairs this initiative with the announcement of their audience placement service Barbizon Audience is a new facet of the business that students can sign up to be ferried to studio television tapings and be paid for their involvement. Located in the prominent Los Angeles Center Studios, Barbizon Audience is launching as a successful and increasing rate, the company has high hopes for their audience placement goals.
