HPV Infected Individuals Feel Intense Shame; CBCD Reviews the Evidence
Industry: Health & Fitness
People who are told that they have HPV have many negative feelings. (1) The CBCD recommends Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR to infected individuals.

Individuals diagnosed with a human papillomavirus (HPV) infection often experience intense feelings of shame. Dr. Boucier and colleagues wrote in a study that there is a “psychosocial burden that typically accompanies diagnosis, treatment, remission, and recurrence” of HPV infection. (1) This “psychosocial burden” often includes powerful, negative emotions including “anger, shame, stigma, frustration, and fear.” (1) For example, “Erica was 22 when her doctor called her and said she had an abnormal pap smear. ‘The doctor was very curt,’ she recalls. ‘I just remember hearing cervical cancer and that there was some procedure I could have later on down the road and that it could make it difficult to get pregnant. I just remember being super terrified.’ Erica was especially concerned because she had received the available HPV vaccine. ‘I was completely aghast,’ she says. “What [my doctor] was telling me was a lot scarier than I thought.” (2)
Erica’s case is not unique. People can still become infected with an HPV strain that is not covered by the HPV vaccine. Additionally, if an individual is already infected with HPV, but doesn’t know it, and then decides to get the vaccine, the shot will not protect this individual. The CBCD believes that due to this fact, people need a remedy that specifically targets the latent HPV virus throughout the body.

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) therefore recommends that Americans infected with HPV take Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR. The formula of these natural antiviral products was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (3) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (3)
Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses. To date, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.
“HPV is by far the most common sexually transmitted infection. According to the CDC, 79 million Americans currently have it. Considering the 2013 U.S. Census Data lists the national adult population as 242,542,967, about 32.5 percent of Americans 18 and over have some strain of HPV. Most sexually active American men and women will have it at some point of their lives, though they may never know it. Of the over 100 strains, the majority are harmless and a healthy immune system will fight it without a person ever realizing it. But despite how common it is, HPV is still deeply misunderstood and, as a result, stigmatized.” (2)
What standard medical procedures are available against the HPV virus?
“There are no drugs approved against the HPV. Current treatments include procedures, such as cryotherapy, conization, and the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). These procedures use liquid nitrogen, a surgical knife (scalpel), a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, or electrical current to remove the abnormal growths caused by the HPV. These growths include cells that harbor the active virus. The procedures do not target cells with the latent virus. Since they do not remove the latent virus, these procedures only produce a temporary remission.” (2) In contrast, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR were designed to target the latent HPV.
“The public should remember that there are two, affordable, natural remedies against HPV. Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR were shown to reduce HPV symptoms in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.” – Greg Bennett, CBCD

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (http://www.cbcd.net) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS tax code. The center’s mission is to advance the research on the biology of chronic disease and to accelerate the discovery of a cure for these diseases. The CBCD first published Dr. Hanan Polansky’s highly acclaimed “Purple” book, entitled “Microcompetition with Foreign DNA and the Origin of Chronic Disease” in 2003. In this book, he explains how foreign DNA fragments can cause many major diseases. The book has been read by more than 5,000 scientists around the world, and has been reviewed in more than 20 leading scientific journals. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
