HPV in Men: Is the Virus Ever Cleared? CBCD Explains and Recommends Two Natural Remedies

The HPV virus is never “cleared.” When a person is infected, it’s for life. The virus establishes a lifelong, latent infection. The best the immune system can do is to control the virus. That is, an efficient immune system can prevent the virus from causing symptoms. Thus, when doctors say the virus is cleared, they mean the virus is no longer causing symptoms. This is a common mix-up. Even the medical literature confuses the terms “cleared” and “controlled.” In fact, the New York state health department says that there is no cure for HPV. “HPV is a chronic, lifelong infection.” (1) The HPV virus is not “cleared.” It is controlled.

Most HPV infections in men are controlled by the immune system within 24 months (2 years) without the aid of drugs or remedies. However, when the immune system fails to control the virus, some strains can cause genital or anal warts, or even cancer. “The types of HPV that can lead to cervical cancer are also associated with … cancers of the … penis, anus, and head and neck.” (2) WebMD notes that “HPV infection can increase a man’s risk of getting genital cancers, although these cancers are not common. HPV can also cause genital warts in men, just as in women.” (3) Additionally, Dr. Andrew Turrisi wrote that HPV 16, which causes most cervical cancers, also causes most throat cancers in men. (4) Dr. Turrisi presently practices radiation oncology full time in Flint, Michigan. There are no drugs against the HPV virus. There are two natural remedies that were shown to reduce HPV symptoms in two separate post-marketing clinical studies. Those products are Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR.

The formula of Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (5) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (5)

Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach.
