An exciting new musical is coming to London! The family friendly show is based on the animation ‘Shrek’, an Oscar-winning Dreamworks title.
This irreverent but enthralling fairy tale joins our unlikely hero Shrek and his loyal, if slightly energetic, steed Donkey as they set off on a magical adventure to rescue a princess. A Princess called Fiona who just happens to be guarded by an enormous fire-breathing but love sick dragon.
Join this heart warming story with a gingerbread man with attitude, a cast of classic fairy tale characters and a king to be with a serious height complex and you’ve got an incredible mix for a musical.
Shrek the Musical magically brings to life the well loved characters from the animation, in a breath taking new production. Singing, dancing and the perfect mix of romance and laughter make this an exciting trip out for all the family. The musical features many of the songs from the animation too, along with a brand new score and the classic anthem ‘I’m a Believer’ which achieved a cult following of Shrek fans when it was featured in the original animation.
The Cast features: Amanda Holden as Princess Fiona, Nigel Lindsay as Shrek, Richard Blackwood as Donkey and Nigel Harman as Lord Farqaard.
