The Holidayparkhols App enables you to easily find a self catering holiday from many locations across the UK and Europe. With dozens of providers and thousands of accommodations including cottages, log cabins, lodges, holiday parks, villas & boating holidays (amongst others) there is an accommodation choice for everyone.
The APP gives people the ability to quickly find and search for accommodations that meet their needs and requirements. Various options enable the user to filter their search requirements and pull back a range of self catering accommodations fitting their criteria. Some of the filters that can be applied include:-
• Price
• Number the Accommodation Sleeps
• Number of Bedrooms
• Pet Friendly, Hot Tub & Swimming Pool
• Location & Accommodation Type

“The mobile and handheld market is growing at an incredible pace and we wanted to find a solution that would enable people to search from a range of providers in an easy to use App. Building in additional functionality to help people filter the accommodations to meet their requirements was an important aspect to ensure good functionality.”
The list of accommodations presented are scrollable and tapping the screen brings up the accommodation details screen providing comprehensive details relating to the chosen holiday property. The accommodation details includes multiple images (where applicable), a map, accommodation description and guide price, location and the provider. The user can then save the accommodation to their favourites for reference and continue a search of click through to check availability and booking information.
Social functionality has been built in to the APP for users to be able to share and recommend any found accommodations to their friends, family or social groups. Social integration includes with Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus and there is also an email function.
Reviews can be added for any accommodations the user may have visited and this includes a description and ability to upload an image either from the phones library or take one with the built in camera while uploading the review.
The App is currently available for the iPhone and Android mobile devices and there are plans to launch an iPad and a Tablet version very soon. The App is free to download and use and there are new providers being added regularly. The accommodations are also refreshed on a regular basis to ensure current holiday accommodations are displayed for the App user.
