Herpes Viruses Can Block Your Airway; CBCD Reviews Medical Studies

Industry: Health & Fitness

Herpes viruses (EBV, HSV-1) can cause severe tonsillitis and block your airway. The CBCD presents medical studies.

“Are you infected with a herpes virus? We recommend taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.”  – Greg Bennett, CBCD

Herpes viruses can cause your tonsils to enlarge so much that you cannot breathe. Dr Laurence Knott says that “extreme tonsillar enlargement may result in upper airway obstruction.” (1) Dr. Knott is the resident doctor (Q&A page and features) for ‘Take A Break’ magazine. Herpes viruses that cause tonsillitis include the Epstein Barr Virus (EBV), the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1), and the cytomegalovirus (CMV). (2)

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) therefore recommends that individuals infected with a herpes virus take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural antiviral products was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin formula is effective against EBV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the (HSV and other viruses)…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (3) The study authors also wrote that, “We observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (3) In addition, this natural antiviral was recently proven to reduce mental and physical fatigue in a post-marketing clinical study that followed FDA guidelines.

Both products can be ordered online on the Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin websites.

Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses. To date, Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.

“At the back of your throat, two masses of tissue called tonsils act as filters, trapping germs that could otherwise enter your airways and cause infection. They also produce antibodies to fight infection. But sometimes the tonsils themselves become infected. Overwhelmed by bacteria or viruses, they swell and become inflamed, a condition known as tonsillitis.” (4)

“The main symptoms of tonsillitis are inflammation and swelling of the tonsils, sometimes severe enough to block the airways. Other symptoms include: throat pain or tenderness, redness of the tonsils, a white or yellow coating on the tonsils, painful blisters or ulcers on the throat, hoarseness or loss of voice, headache, loss of appetite, ear pain, difficulty swallowing or breathing through the mouth, swollen glands in the neck or jaw area, fever, chills (and) bad breath.” (4)

The CBCD therefore suggests that individuals infected with a herpes virus take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.
